The latest generation of hyperthermia technology is now used at the clinic of Dr. med. Peter Wolf. Chemists know the relationships: Laetrile develops a “bitter” effect, which can be directed against cancer cells. When laetrile, vitamin B17, is consumed, the liver activates a special enzyme (beta-glycosidase) to transform the vitamin B17, laetril, in a molecule of benzaldehyde (an analgesic) and a hydrogen cyanide molecule. Cyanide (prussic acid) is highly toxic and dangerous depending on the dosage. But not for all cell types: tumor tissue has far more enzymes, type beta-glycosidase, than normal cells. Therefore, cancer cells divide more frequently laetrile, vitamin B17, and generate more anticarcinogenic cyanides. The cancer cell is about to poison itself.

Healthy cells remain unaffected by anticarcinogenic cyanides. They neutralize them thanks to the enzyme rhodanese. Only healthy cells contain the enzyme rhodanese.

But cancer cells are not immune: they react to laetrile, vitamin B17, as they have no protective armor against laetrile, vitamin B17. Supplying laetril, vitamin B17, via an insulin potentiation therapy (IPT) has the advantage supplying it (laetril, vitamin B17) in a highly concentrated form directly into cancer cells.

Clinical studies have shown that vitamin C can stop the degeneration of cells into cancer cells and their spreading (metastatic spread). This is due to the fact, that vitamin C reinforces the cellular immune defence system through the activation of the lymphocytes and the macrophages, and encourages the hormonal defence system of our body to increase its concentration of immune globulins. At the same time, it seems that vitamin C has a direct affect on cancer-causing substances in deactivating them or protecting the DNA structure of the cell nucleus.

Clinical experience has shown that high-dosage vitamin C is particularly inhibiting cancer cells from growth and is very effective. The so-called high dose vitamin C therapy (starting at 25 gr) is directly administered into the bloodstream through an infusion. This leads to the creation of cytotoxic hydrogen peroxide, which inhibits the growth of cancer cells and metastasis. Healthy cells are not damaged in the process. When cancer is present, vitamin C can enhance the efficiency of chemotherapy and protect healthy cells from radiation.
