Imaging methods are important in the diagnosis of cancer. However, other methods such as BioScan and Maintrac are also crucial.
Here you will find a summary of the most important diagnostic methods. Before every successful treatment an exact and individual diagnostic is very important for us followed by a detail and individual treatment schedule.
Blood tests
They are commonly taken when a patient visits our clinic for the first time.
Whether patients are on block or contingency therapies or on regeneration or biological cancer therapies, the frequency with which blood checks are conducted will depend on a the necessity of new results or on patients wishes.
For cancer patients, our doctors are not evaluating the progress of cancer on tumor markers only, but are including it against many more factors.

Maintrac
The Maintrac blood test is a laboratory diagnostic procedure that determines the number of tumor cells circulating in the blood and whether they are responsible for the development of metastases. The resulting dynamics enable well-founded statements to be made about current and future therapeutic measures. Since the blood sample is analyzed in real time, it is also possible to quantitatively record CETCs / CTCs at an early stage of the disease, long before metastasis.
This diagnostic method, known for its high sensitivity, helps in the early detection of cancer or new tumor activity. Before starting treatment, Maintrac measures the number of circulating cells and compares it with the number of cells in the course of therapy.
It can thus be determined with certainty whether the patient is responding to treatment and whether the therapy-relevant properties of a tumor cell exist.
