Resveratrol Infusions

Resveratrol, a vegetable polyphenol, is said to have many properties. It can prevent diabetes, reduce fat, has a strong anti-inflammatory effect and can thus inhibit the development of tumours and suppress the growth of existing tumours.

The interest in this relatively newly discovered active substance is strong, as numerous studies and publications of recent years have shown. Even stubborn tumours that have long been resistant to chemotherapeutics are made sensitive to both chemotherapy and cytoxic cytokines by the active substance resveratrol.

The active ingredient resveratrol is found in grapes and the Japanese knotweed "Polygonum cuspidatum". Production is mainly stimulated by UV rays, so it is one of the substances that protect the plant organism, the plant's immune system, from external attacks. Its defensive effect against viruses, bacteria and fungi has been repeatedly proven.

Animal experiments have shown that resveratrol significantly extended the lifespan of animals. In addition, a protective effect on the blood vessels of the human organism has been demonstrated, and resveratrol helps to positively influence inflammatory processes. Studies on cancer cells have shown that the active substance supports the apoptosis ability (self-destruction) of diseased cells.

Very good results have been demonstrated in the pancreatic adenocarcinoma, a type of cancer considered incurable.

At the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover we work with resveratrol infusions, which have a much higher tissue concentration than oral administration. The infusions are recommended in conjunction with other forms of alternative medicine. So far no side effects are known.
