Hodgkin’s disease – Alternative Treatment & Therapie

Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (Hodgkin’s disease, Lympho Granuloma) is a malignant tumour of the lymphatic system. The disease was named after the British doctor Thomas Hodgkin (1798-1866) and described for the first time in 1832.

The frequency of new cases annually of hodgkin’s lymphoma is two to four cases per 100,000 people, the ratio of men to women is 3:2. Hodgkin’s disease affects mainly young people to middle-aged adults. In industrialized countries you find two peaks in the age distribution of the disease; the major peak is in the third decade, and the minor in the seventh decade of life.

The disease becomes noticeable by painless swelling of the lymph nodes, which patients typically notice randomly. Lymph nodes in the neck area, also in the underarm area, in the abdomen, as well as in the groin area are most commonly affected. Patients report fatigue, performance degradation, or itching. Fever and night sweats may occur, known as B symptoms. Signs of the disease can be an enlargement of the liver or the spleen.

Characteristic of the histologic diagnosis of hodgkin’s lymphoma is the presence of mononuclear Hodgkin’s cells, as well as the poly nuclear giant Sternberg-Reed cells often called Hodgkin-Reed-Sternberg cells (HRS cells). These are derived from the B-lymphocytes (white blood cells) from the germinal centers of lymph nodes. They are the actual ‘evil growing’ cells of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. These cells are all identical, as they originate from one and the same cell and are described as “monoclonal”.  A cell about 20 µm in size with several light nuclei is typical of Sternberg-Reed cells.

Often, the blood count shows a lymphopenia. The reduction in blood cells is greatly increased. Examination of the tissue of the affected node is diagnostically important. Further investigation can be carried out by ultrasound, computer tomography, radiography and bone marrow puncture. In children the chances of a cure are particularly good to very good.

In the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover, we recommend the following therapies for the treatment of hodgkin’s lymphoma:

Insulin Potentation Therapy (IPT)
Patients with hodgkin’s lymphoma can be successfully treated at the Hyperthermia Centre Hanover with IPT insulin potentiated therapy, which uses the hormone insulin to inject drugs better in the tumour cells.  Because the degenerate cells of the lymphatic system have a higher basal metabolic rate than normal cells, they are attempting to absorb sugar more quickly after a period of low blood sugar. Because tumour cells in the lymphatic system have more receptors than normal cells, chemotherapy has therefore a more effective impact on the malignant cells. Subsequently, the dosage of commonly used chemotherapy protocols can be significantly reduced and therefore the side-effects decreases considerably.

Wega testing is done on patients with hodgkin’s lymphoma with a low-frequency current device which searches for interference fields in the body by means of electrical stimulation. Also the therapists at the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover can evaluate the energetic state of a patient, which is extremely useful for the efficient treatment of HL. On the basis of the Electro acupuncture according to Dr. Voll, the Wega-test can detect inflammation, organ stress or interference fields in the posterior region or recognizes organ correlations and analyses the effect of viruses, bacteria or pollutants.

With the bio-resonance testing we analyze at the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover impairing substances and their effect on the body of a patient with malignant lymphoma. This is very fast and is completely painless. In many cases we can find which problem by the patient can lead to ill-health (such as heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, Electro Smog, dental materials, allergens etc.), which is essential is for an efficient treatment of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. As essential supplement to other treatments and examinations, the bio-resonance testing can give important diagnostic and therapeutic assistance.

Nutritional counselling / therapy
Diet alone cannot defeat the Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But vital substance-rich whole food nutrition and enough fibre can help inhibit the growth of cancer cells, as also the secondary plant compounds contained in many types of vegetables, such as carotenoids and chlorophyll. We are happy to advise about appropriate diets that will suit you.

The nutritional therapy of Dr. Gerson aims at detoxifying the body with simultaneous addition of many fresh nutrients, which is particularly useful for patients with HL. It includes high-quality fruits and vegetables in addition to special juices, fresh and elaborately prepared and regularly to be taken throughout the day. These are carefully prepared at the Hyperthemia Centre Hannover to retain their healing powers, partly as fresh food, in special soups, or gently cooked and steamed.

Coffee enemas
We recommend at the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover especially our patients with hodgkin’s lymphoma a special detoxification therapy: a coffee enema coffee is passed in the gut. In the rectum, the coffee is absorbed through the intestinal mucosa into the blood and reaches the liver directly. This is done via the portal vein system. The portal vein collects the blood from the digestive organs and carries it to the liver. In this portal venous blood metabolites and toxins from these organs are included. These harmful substances and thus also the caffeine will be reduced again in the liver – our No. 1 – detoxification organ.

Infusions with high-doses Vitamin C
At the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover we treat patients with an acute lymphoblastic leukaemia successfully with high-dose vitamin C. The so-called Ascorbic acid is the most popular vitamin – and the most important antioxidant, i.e., it intercepts harmful free radicals in the body and makes it harmless – and prevents in this way degeneration in the cells. Vitamin C is also essential for the immune system and various restructuring processes in the body. When vitamin C is given in a high-dose, the treatment of HL can be positively affected.

Neural therapy assumes that chronic ailments are caused by interference fields. Each part of the body and each pathologically altered organ in the body can be an interference field. For the treatment, an anti-inflammatory aesthetic will be injected in the abnormal tissue structure, primarily in the Head zone which causes relief in the aching body area, and at the same time the corresponding organ – In this case the lymphatic system.

Vitamins, minerals, trace elements, fatty acids, amino acids and enzymes must be available in the right amount and in the right relationship to each other in the body. In case of a disease, poor living habits or an unbalanced diet this relationship can be significantly reduced.  We determine for you the deficient substances with a comprehensive laboratory test and offer especially aimed at the specific HL indication and tailored to your constitution infusions, to resolve deficiencies in micro – and macro-nutrients. The infusions can contain amino acids (E.g. glycine, glutamine, taurine, cysteine, carnithin, carnosine, arginine, glutathione and so forth) and/or trace elements and mineral substances (such as zinc, selenium, magnesium, calcium, potassium and so forth) and vitamins (such as C and B-complex).
