Salivary gland cancer – Alternative Treatment & Therapie

Salivary gland cancer is a disease of a salivary gland. Currently approximately one per 100,000 people per year gets this type of cancer. The tumours in the salivary glands in three-quarters of the cases are benign tumours, and malignancies in a quarter of cases.

Referring to the saliva-secreting Parotid gland (Glandula Parotid) approximately 80 percent of tumours are benign, and 20 percent are malignant. The most common benign tumour of the salivary gland is the Pleomorphic  adenoma. The second most common benign tumour is the Warthin tumour (Zystadenolymphoma). Other benign tumours are very rare.

There are a number of subtypes of malignant tumours which are identified on the basis of their histologic features. The mucoepidermoid carcinomas, Adenoid cystic carcinoma, adenocarcinomas, the Acinus Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, metastases of other tumours in the area of the salivary glands, are the most common tumours in addition to a number of rare malignant tumours.

Malignant tumours of the salivary glands must be taken very seriously since these tumours frequently lead to the settlement of metastases in the soft tissues of the neck.

A functional check of the facial nerves and scanning the area are the first steps to diagnosis, which must be confirmed with an ultrasound. A biopsy is not always an accurate assessment. A differential diagnosis to identify non-epithelial malignancies, benign tumours, and the metastases of other primary tumours is needed in order to clarify the diagnosis.

At the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover we recommend for the treatment of salivary gland cancer the following therapies:

Whole Body-Hyperthermia
The healing effect of whole-body hyperthermia for patients with salivary gland cancer is that we can very quickly bring the organism to high temperatures (up 40.5 °). This fast and high heating activates not only the immune system, but many degenerate cells of the salivary gland cancer are destroyed by the fast floods of heat. In addition to the damage or removal of the cancer cells, the whole-body hyperthermia activates the immune system significantly without burdening the rest of the body. It triggers an immune cascade that activates and multiplies the white blood cells.

Loco regional Hyperthermia
Also the regional effective hyperthermia is advisable for salivary gland cancer: during this treatment the affected region is quickly heated to high temperatures (40 up to 44 ° C). This heat activates the immune system. Also, many cells of salivary gland cancer will be harmed or destroyed. In our day clinic at the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover we offer also the partial body hyperthermia depending on the diagnosis, and only damaged or degenerated tissue is overheated, which guarantees very gentle treatment to our patients.

Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT)
Patients with a salivary gland cancer can be successfully treated at the Hyperthermia Centre Hanover with IPT Insulin potentiation therapy, which uses the hormone insulin to inject drugs more effectively in the tumour cells. Because the degenerate cells of salivary gland cancer have a higher basal metabolic rate than normal cells, they attempt to absorb sugar more quickly after a period of low blood sugar. The mechanism follows the so-called insulin receptors. Because tumour cells in salivary gland cancer have in general more of the so-called ‘insulin receptors’ than normal cells, chemotherapy can therefore impact the malignant cells more effectively by using IPT. As a result the dosage of conventional chemotherapy protocols can be reduced, and thus the side effects can also be significantly lowered.

Wega-Test
The Wega test is performed on patients with salivary gland cancer using a low pulse current device to search for interference fields in the body by means of electrical stimulation. In addition, the therapists at the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover can determine the condition of the energy levels of a patient, which is extremely helpful for the efficient treatment of salivary gland cancer: Based on Electro acupuncture, according to Dr. Voll the Wega-test detects inflammation, organ stress or interference fields in the posterior region or recognizes organ correlations and analyses the effect of viruses, bacteria or pollutants.

Bioresonance-Therapy
With bio-resonance testing we record impairing substances and their effect on a patient with salivary gland cancer at the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover. This is a very fast and completely painless process. In many cases we can identify which substance will lead to ill-health (such as heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, Electro Smog, dental materials, allergens etc.) , which is essential for an efficient treatment of salivary gland cancer. As an essential addition to other treatments and examinations, the bio-resonance testing can give important diagnostic and therapeutic assistance.

Ozone-Therapy
According to our experiences in the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover, our patients with salivary gland cancer react especially well to the ozone therapy. Ozone is a three atom form of oxygen. Its germ-killing and disinfecting effect has been proven scientifically. The ozone treatment takes advantage of the acute oxygen problem of the degenerated cells of the salivary gland tumour. Blood is taken from the patient’s vein. The blood is made incoagulable (unclottable) and mixed with an ozone-oxygen mixture. This enriched blood is then injected intravenously back into the patients again.

Nutritional counselling / therapy
Diet alone cannot defeat salivary gland cancer. But vital substance-rich whole food nutrition and enough fibre can help inhibit the growth of cancer, along with the secondary plant compounds contained in many types of vegetables such as carotenoids and chlorophyll. We are happy to advise about appropriate diets that will suit you.

Gerson-Therapy
The nutritional therapy of Dr.Gerson aims at detoxifying the body with simultaneous addition of many fresh nutrients, which is particularly useful for patients with salivary gland cancer. It includes in addition to special juices, fresh and elaborately prepared and taken throughout the day, essentially high-quality fruits and vegetables. Carefully prepared at the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover partly as fresh food, partly in special soups or gently cooked and steamed to retain their healing powers. The Gerson therapy is low in fat, low in sodium and proteins.

Coffee-Enema
We recommend, especially for our patients with salivary gland cancer, a special detoxification therapy: a coffee enema where coffee is passed though the gut. In the rectum, the coffee is absorbed through the intestinal mucosa into the blood and reaches the liver directly. This is done via the portal vein system. The portal vein collects the blood from the digestive organs and carries it to the liver. This portal venous blood contains also metabolites and toxins from these organs. These harmful substances along with caffeine are reduced again in the liver – our No. 1 – detoxification organ.

Infusions with high doses Vitamin C
At the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover we treat patients with salivary gland cancer successfully with high-doses of vitamin C. The so-called Ascorbic acid is the most popular vitamin, – and the most important antioxidant, i.e. it intercepts harmful free radicals in the body and makes them harmless – and in this way prevents degeneration in the cells. Vitamin C is also essential for the immune system and various restructuring processes in the body. When vitamin C is given in a high- dose, the treatment of salivary gland cancer can be positively affected.

Infusions with „Vitamin“ B17
Vitamin B17 is used in the Hyperthermia Centre Hannover for the treatment of salivary gland cancer. Through the interaction of enzymes, increasingly toxic prussic acids are formed in degenerated cells which lead to the death of tumour cells. A therapy with this substance, also known as Amygdalin, is an alternative or complementary therapy and not only useful for the treatment of salivary gland cancer, but also for several other types of cancer.

Procaine-Based-Infusion
Neural therapy assumes that chronic ailments are caused by interference fields. Each part of the body, and each pathologically altered organ in the body, can be an interference field. For the treatment of salivary gland cancer, an anti-inflammatory anaesthetic will be injected into the abnormal tissue structure, primarily in the Head zone, which causes relief to the aching body area, and at the same time the corresponding organ, in this case the salivary gland.
